PERFORMANCE CONTRACTORS HUMAN RESOURCES BUILDING
2017 | BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA
Performance Contractors, Inc. in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, wanted to expand their National Campus Headquarters. The Human Resources building, the first new construction in the expansion, needed to provide efficient organization and ample space for the company’s highly technical training and testing facilities for prospective employees, and the Human Resources department’s employee processing needs.
MADE designed the building’s ground floor to streamline the employee education processes, with a series of durable, yet modern digital and physical testing and training areas, including classrooms, computer testing rooms, indoor training areas for welding, rigging, and climbing, and virtual reality training stations for crane operations. On the upper floors, dedicated office space serves Performance Contractors, Inc.’s growing HR department. The elegantly curved building follows the bend of Pecue Lane and maintains a constant setback from the boulevard, providing space for a landscaped walking path and acting as a welcoming gateway framing the campus’ north entry.
