Nestled in a cove within Bryan tower (a 40-story skyscraper in the heart of downtown Dallas) sits our 2,300 sf site on the second level, home to a pre-existing sundry shop. This site is especially unique in that it is situated at the convergence of 3 different walkways connecting adjacent office towers.

We were approached by the tenants and asked to design and renovate 1/3 of the existing space to house a Starbucks coffee shop. Working closely with the tenants and Spire Realty, we worked to provide a space that was both charming and inviting.

Sourcing and applying true, authentic materials such as 1920’s tin pulled from the sides of a dilapidated barn in the countryside of Illinois, custom oak cabinetry, hand-poured and treated concrete countertops, and antique shiplap delicately removed from a Victorian house in Northwest Arkansas. Each material and detail carefully analyzed and studied to provide the most engaging and satisfying outcome possible.
